YOUR ROLE

As the full‑time Associate Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader’s “go‑to” in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high‑performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always nails their sales goals, rocks merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your real self to work every day.

Responsibilities

• You have a passion for driving sales: As a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience. You contribute to the store’s financial success by analyzing reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions, and you help develop short and long‑term business plans to drive key KPIs.
• You’re a people leader: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, hold them accountable to high customer service standards, and serve as a role‑model leader.
• You have an eye for talent and a love of training: You recruit and hire strong talent so the store is always staffed to meet business needs, and you train and develop your team to provide outstanding service.
• You know that teamwork makes the dream work: You give ongoing performance feedback through real‑time coaching, regular touch‑bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and you celebrate your team’s outstanding performance.
• You’re an operational innovator: You execute and innovate daily operational procedures, support the team in maintaining visual standards across all zones, and ensure Fitting Rooms are always guest‑ready and meet AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity is your middle name: You maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards, adhere to AEO’s policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.

Qualifications

• You love AE and Aerie products.
• You have led teams in a retail management role previously.
• You can multi‑task, have strong attention to detail, and excel at priority‑setting and time management.
• You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law.
• You have business acumen.
• You have flexible availability and can work when guests shop.

Pay & Benefits

• Actual starting pay is determined by relevant experience and location.
