DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Advisor to deliver a high-touch athlete experience at the store level. You will guide athletes through checkout, loyalty programs, and services with confidence and expertise, building strong connections and driving engagement.

You will greet customers, follow merchandising standards, participate in program promotions, and uphold safety and store policies while fostering an inclusive environment for teammates and athletes alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Greet teammates and athletes to understand needs and provide helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, price changes, and replenishment.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs as well as applicable laws and guidelines including ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team and perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet everyone (Teammates and Athletes) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.

• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.

• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).

• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.

• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.

• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
