Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring an Advisor to deliver high-touch customer experiences at our Fresno, CA store. You will guide athletes through checkout, loyalty programs, and services with confidence and expertise, building strong connections and ensuring a seamless end-to-end shopping journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service and building connections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist athletes and teammates, guiding them through product knowledge and the shopping experience.
• Maintain store merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, and inventory accuracy.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranties, credit options, and other store programs.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, including applicable laws and regulations.
• Create an inclusive, welcoming store environment and support the team across tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth store operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet everyone (Teammates and Athletes) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Targeted Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
