Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking an Advisor Development Program Market Leader (ADPML) to oversee the national ADP and drive performance through coaching, training, and assessments within the market.

This fully registered role requires Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 (or equivalent) licenses and a proven track record in sales leadership and coaching. The ADPML will supervise participants, develop training tools, and coordinate with senior leadership to ensure compliance and effective pipeline

Qualifications

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses, plus Series 9 & 10 or 4/24/53 combination, are REQUIRED.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with sales and building, leading, managing and coaching a team.
  • Ability to attract, recruit and retain an effective sales and operations team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regulatory supervision and oversight to advisors.
  • Ensure ADP participants are meeting and achieving hurdles.
  • Lead training and development activities, tools, and routines to enable Advisor Trainee productivity.
  • Engage with ADP participants needing heightened support for success.
  • Reinforce compliance, supervision, and provide risk management support for market leadership.
  • Lead pipeline management routines with teams and coach on pipeline execution.
  • Support client acquisition by maximizing lead potential via enterprise relationships Strategy & Accountability.
  • Help leaders implement performance management, including goal setting, incentives, and recognition.
  • Support market results while aligning with national programs.
  • Coaching and development of advisor trainees for growth.
  • Build and manage relationships across the franchise; counsel Advisor Trainees on business drivers.
  • Support sales management in executing sales force growth plans and recruiting strategies.
  • Administer superior sales supervision practices in the market.

Job Summary

The Advisor Development Program Market Leader (ADPML) owns the Advisor Development Program and all of the participants within it in the market(s). The ADPML is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the ADP participants within the market, ensuring a consistent experience that is strictly aligned to the national program. The ADPML will drive performance results through coaching, training and performance assessments that support the development and success of all ADP roles. This position reports to the Division Advisor Development Program Executive (DAE), with direction of their aligned Market Executive(s). Note: This role is a fully registered position with supervisory responsibility and will comply with all rules and regulations for registered and non-registered employees when coaching performance and behaviors. Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 (or equivalent) licenses are required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide regulatory supervision and oversight to advisors.
  • Ensure ADP participants are meeting and achieving hurdles.
  • In alignment with national program, lead training and develop activities, tools, and routines to help enable Advisor Trainee productivity.
  • Personal involvement with ADP participants who require heightened support to achieve success.
  • Help reinforce compliance, supervision, and provide risk management support of ADP participants and their activity for market leadership.
  • Lead pipeline management routines with teams and coach on pipeline execution.
  • Support client acquisition efforts by maximizing lead potential via enterprise relationships Strategy & Accountability.
  • Support leaders in implementing effective performance management, including goal setting, incentive, and other reward, and recognition mechanisms.
  • Accountable to support market results, while maintaining strict consistency with national programs.
  • Coaching and Development: Work closely with advisor trainees, coaching for successful professional growth and development.
  • Build and manage relationships across the franchise. Coach and counsel Advisor Trainees on strategic business drivers.
  • Sales Force Expansion: Support sales management in executing sale force growth plans and support effective Advisor recruiting strategies.
  • Sales Supervision: Administer superior sales supervision/practices in the market.
Requirements
  • Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65), along with Series 9 & 10 or (4, 24, 53 combination) are REQUIRED.
