• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Computer/CS) required.

For our client, we are seeking a Advisor, Competitive Intelligence – Inside-the-Data-Center Technologies to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will shape competitive intelligence for technologies used inside the data center, with a focus on translating market and competitor signals into clear strategic guidance. The position will partner closely with marketing, product, sales, and other stakeholders to strengthen messaging and support key launches and initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical fluency with strong market research and analytical skills to help the organization stay ahead in a fast-moving infrastructure landscape. This is a highly cross-functional role with visibility into hyperscaler and AI infrastructure requirements, optical ecosystems, and emerging architectures.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $114,000 – $182,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis of data center infrastructure solutions
• Leverage a wide range of information sources to generate market insights
• Monitor competitor activity and assess potential business impacts
• Provide strategic competitive intelligence support to key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required
• MBA or equivalent business degree is a plus
• Relevant experience in technical, sales engineering, business development, product management, product marketing, industry analyst, or competitive intelligence roles
• Experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or product strategy within networking or data center infrastructure industries
• Familiarity with hyperscaler and AI infrastructure customer requirements
• Knowledge of optical interconnect ecosystems and emerging optical architectures
