Job summary

Best Version Media is seeking energetic field-based sales consultants to build and manage a local book of business. You will meet local business owners in person, present advertising solutions across print and digital offerings, and drive multi-channel campaigns that grow client brands and your commissions.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll earn a recurring commission based on monthly sales volume, with potential bonuses during startup and ongoing periods.

What You’ll Do

This is a field-based, in-person sales role. You’ll build your own book of business in your local territory, on a schedule you control, selling advertising placements across BVM’s local print magazine and companion digital, social, and website products.

• Consult: Meet face-to-face with standout local business owners to showcase what makes their community great.
• Strategize: Build powerful, multi-channel branding programs using our media suite, print, digital, social, websites, and reputation management.
• Scale: Leverage our proven training and time-tested sales system to grow your own book of business, building community engagement that pays you and your community for years to come.

What You’ll Earn

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary or draw (full commission). Representatives earn a recurring commission on sales, with commission rates generally ranging from 70-80% based on monthly sales volume and performance relative to the baseline* cost structure. Bonuses are available during start-up and on an ongoing basis.

*Baseline is the back-end cost associated with the magazine & digital product’s cost to produce, distribute, bill clients, etc, and does not come out of the representative’s pocket.
