BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Partner-Level Advertising and Promotions Attorney to join its nationally recognized practice in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in traditional and new media advertising, marketing, and promotions matters and will play a crucial role in growing the firm’s practice.

The role emphasizes advising clients, leading litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims, and developing client relationships

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional and new media advertising, marketing, and promotions laws.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions across traditional and new media.
• Safeguard clients’ brand elements across campaign life cycles from conception to data utilization.
• Advise on regulatory challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers.
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims in court and NAD proceedings.
• Develop business by expanding the advertising, marketing, and promotions practice.
• Collaborate with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff with strong communication.
• Apply negotiation and advocacy skills to client matters.
• Manage confidential information with discretion and tact.
