Job summary

POLITICO is seeking an Advertising Operations Specialist to join the Media Business team in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on activation and fulfillment of advertising campaigns, QA of assets, and troubleshooting technical issues while optimizing campaigns in real time.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable leveraging ad servers, Google Ads, and Adobe Creative Suite. A background in web languages such as HTML/JavaScript is preferred, with 0–1 years’ experience and

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Media Business to ensure successful activation and fulfillment of advertising campaigns.
• QA advertising assets and troubleshoot any technical and performance issues.
• Launch, monitor and optimize digital campaigns using the ad server.
• Analyze performance of advertising campaigns and products.
• Contribute to product performance benchmarks and insights using multiple data sources and visualization tools.
• Maintain runsheets, campaign pacing and inventory forecasting reports.
• Liaise with Design team to insure placement of print advertising.
• Assist with evaluation, implementation and administration of ad tech platforms.

COMPENSATION

$50,000 Annual Base. This position is eligible for commission. The final salary offered will be based on factors including relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
