Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, TN, is seeking an Adventure Maintenance Technician to keep our elevated attractions operating safely. You’ll inspect and maintain zipline systems, treetop platforms, BirdVenture enclosures, and related structures, working outdoors in varying weather and at heights.

This hands-on role requires problem-solving, the ability to follow directions, and comfort working with tools and other trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of maintenance experience, preferably outdoors or in adventure-based environments.
• Comfort working outdoors year-round and at elevated heights.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on zipline systems and elevated structures.
• Assist with upkeep of BirdVenture enclosures, netting, fencing, and related structures.
• Operate light vehicles and equipment such as 4WDs, lifts, and golf carts.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other skilled trades on maintenance tasks.
• Maintain tools and work areas to ensure safe operations.
