Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a pediatric nephrologist to join our collaborative team, with service locations in Orlando, Tampa, and Melbourne, to provide comprehensive care for kidney and metabolic disorders. This is a new junior position open to both graduating fellows and recently boarded pediatric nephrologists eager to advance patient care in a dynamic environment, while expanding access to communities. The practice is affiliated with AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, a 200-bed tertiary Children’s Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

1. Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
2. Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology
3. Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
4. Proficiency with kidney transplants, dialysis, and CRRT
5. Rotating call coverage at Children’s campus with colleagues
6. Clinic days at Melbourne, Tampa, and Orlando
7. Outpatient average volumes of 10-12 patients
8. Inpatient average volumes of 6-12 patients
9. 1:3 call rotation. Overnight coverage managed via phone.
