Job summary

Diocese of Allentown is seeking an Advancement Director for St. John Vianney Regional School in Allentown, PA. The role oversees enrollment management, development, communications, and constituent relations to secure resources and support the school’s mission.

The position reports to the School Principal and requires strong leadership, fundraising, and strategic planning with a commitment to Catholic education and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience in enrollment management, development, and communications is required or highly desirable.
• Experience in a parochial or not-for-profit environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enrollment management, development, communications and public relations to support enrollment and fundraising goals.
• Plan and implement fundraising programs including annual giving and major gifts.
• Lead volunteer recruitment and engagement through the Home and School association and other groups.
• Coordinate data management, reporting, and use of databases to support operations and fundraising.
• Develop and maintain professional school communications standards (print, digital, media).
• Collaborate with Pastor, Principal, Finance Chair, and Bookkeeper on endowment and fundraising initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with necessary background checks and safeguarding training.
