Job summary

Pinehurst Resort seeks an Advanced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and intraoperative imaging in a surgical clinic setting. You will ensure high-quality imaging, support procedural efficiency, and help maintain regulatory compliance while safeguarding radiation safety and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and radiologic technology program completion.
• Current state licensure or certification as Radiologic Technologist.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS preferred.
• Ability to operate x-ray equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charge entry.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams using proper positioning and radiation safety protocols.
• Provide C-arm support for Pain Management procedures.
• Ensure sterile technique in procedural environments.
• Review EMR imaging orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Transmit images to PACS and confirm quality prior to review.
• Support on-time case starts and same-day imaging add-ons.
• Maximize daily imaging volume while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain readiness of imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to ALARA and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, charge entry, and image archiving.
• Support infection prevention protocols and equipment sterilization.
• Assist with training and satellite clinic coverage as needed.
• Manage imaging-related phone inquiries and image releases.
• Process image releases and manage outside film integration.
• Ensure accurate and timely charge capture.
