Job summary

IEA Kenosha Plant in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Welder III for the 2nd shift. The role involves skilled welding duties, including TIG, MIG, and Plasma cutting, with reading of weld symbols and shop drawings.

Set up weldments, perform surface prep and related tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have 6–9 years of welding experience, formal apprenticeship training, and certifications such as forklift and overhead crane are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six to Nine years of welding experience.
• Knowledge of TIG, MIG and Plasma Cutting.
• Ability to weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel in all positions.
• Ability to read weld symbols, shop drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and gauges.
• Set up fixture tables to run weld jobs.
• Knowledge of structural metals and welding materials.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and interpret welding specifications.
• Set up, fit and position weldments using fixtures and tools.
• Perform welding and related tasks including surface prep and cutting.
• Inspect welds and surfaces for proper bonds.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe work area; follow ISO standards.
