Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Advanced Urgent Care Clinics seeks an Adult APP to provide high-quality care for adults with acute health needs. The APP will diagnose, perform procedures, and coordinate urgent care services across multiple clinics in North Carolina.

Responsibilities include independent patient assessment, ordering and interpreting tests, and contributing to patient flow and safety. This role requires ED or urgent care experience and PA credentialing, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Ability to provide independent expert care with appropriate diagnostic testing and procedures.
• Familiarity with emergency department evaluations and guidance.
• Comfort with urgent-care patient assessment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care independently through medical practice and procedures.
• Perform and interpret tests such as EKGs; assist with suturing and I&D.
• Coordinate and schedule labs and diagnostic procedures; explain preparatory steps to patients.
• Maintain complete documentation and adhere to hospital policies; participate in ongoing education.
