Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Repair Tech 2 to provide high-quality end-user repair services. You will read repair orders, diagnose issues, and perform disassembly and replacement of worn parts, ensuring adherence to work instructions and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Mechanical and diagnostic skills required.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic computer and writing skills.
• 3+ months experience in Repair/Recondition.
• Able to meet production, quality, and attendance goals.
• Fluent English with strong spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend repair orders and parts schematics.
• Complete repair orders with technician notes.
• Perform repairs including disassembly and replacement of worn or defective parts.
• Set up and perform electrical, mechanical, and functional tests to verify repairs.
• Work from parts sheets, specifications, and drawings.
• Record parts used and provide data for billing and warranty information.
• Identify and report operational irregularities and defective materials.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping in the work area.
• Support different processes and departments as needed.
