Job summary

GeoLogics seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer in Dedham, MA for a contract-to-hire role. The position is a W2 hourly contract only with a potential extension, and no 1099 or third parties. Secret clearance is required. Hourly rate range: $75.00–$88.50.

Responsibilities include systems design with Use Cases, CONOPs, and requirements management; development of test procedures; and collaboration with software teams. On-site work in Dedham, MA, with limited benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 8+ years experience, or Master's with 6 years experience.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Experience developing Systems Design including Use Cases, CONOPs, and Requirement Management.
• Test Procedure Development and Test Execution.
• 3-5 years' experience with a SW team to define Systems Design Specifications.
• Ability to define scope, schedule, and expectations; lead with minimal guidance.
• Ability to interact effectively within project teams.
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Experience developing Systems Design which include Use Cases, CONOPs, and Requirement Management
• Test Procedure Development and Test Execution
• 3-5 Years' experience working with a SW team to define Systems Design Specifications
• Passion for designing complicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope
• Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute
• Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance and can provide technical direction and leadership
• Ability to interact effectively within project teams
• Solid ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
