You will ensure adherence to sterilization protocols, support department operations, and contribute to process improvements in sterile processing services. The role requires 2–4 years of sterile processing experience, proficiency in cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing instruments, and the ability to train and guide junior staff

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in sterile processing or related role.
• Proficient in cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing medical instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Effective communication for training and collaboration.
• Knowledge of infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing, packaging, sterilizing, and storing supplies.
• Assemble complex instrument trays and sets for procedures.
• Distribute supplies to facility areas with proper documentation.
• Monitor, interpret, and document results of sterilization indicators; address issues.
• Operate sterilization and decontamination equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Support Sterile Process Technician I with training as needed.
• Maintain inventory and logs for usage, expiry dates, and testing.
• Adhere to PPE and privacy policies.
