Trinity Health, based in Idaho, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join Saint Alphonsus Health System. You will clean, inspect and package surgical instruments and prepare case carts for procedures in a hospital setting.
The role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification and CIS certification, with high school diploma or equivalent. Prior hospital experience is preferred, and the department handles instrument sterilization and restocking duties daily.

Clean, inspect, and package surgical instruments, specialty sets and other re-usable instruments following all surgical procedures following regulations established by OSHA, The Joint Commission, and Saint Alphonsus.
Operate sterilization equipment including cart washer, washer disinfectors, steam sterilizers, other sterilizers, heat sealers, and Sterris machines.
Prepare surgical case carts and respond to requests for instrumentation and /or supplies for surgical procedures.
Order and restock the surgery department with supplies and instruments.
8/40 - 8-hour shifts, Mondays - Fridays with occasional weekends.
Day shifts: 6:45 AM
Evening shift: 3:00 PM
Nigh Shift: 9:00 PM
Evening shift, night shift, and weekends receive an additional pay differential!
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Has and maintains CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
CIS certification required.
Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
