Premium Velocity Auto / Jiffy Lube (PVA) in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an Advanced Automotive Technician (Service Specialist / Advanced Specialist) to perform high‑level maintenance and repairs and to be cross‑trained across all roles.

You will deliver top‑quality workmanship, stay compliant with OSHA and state regulations, and have opportunities for training, bonuses, and career growth through Jiffy Lube University.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
• ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide unbiased, accurate service recommendations based on technician findings and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform advanced automotive services across major systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, tires, spark plugs, batteries.
• Complete preventive maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, light replacements, and wiper installations.
• Stay compliant with OSHA, state regulations, and Jiffy Lube standards.
• Support marketing events and promotions.
• Maintain accurate customer, service, and inventory records.
• Assist with stocking and inventory management.
• Perform basic housekeeping and minor building maintenance.
• Build strong customer loyalty by ensuring top‑quality workmanship and satisfaction.
