Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a qualified social worker to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation of disabled adults by applying advanced social work practices and by monitoring Adult Care homes to ensure compliance with licensing standards.

The role requires a Master's degree in social work (or equivalent) and substantial experience in casework, group work, and community services. Applicants should have knowledge of relevant laws and the ability to supervise and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices; applies to complex casework, group work, and community problems.
• Considerable knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis-related interventions.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and policies governing program.
