Job summary

HDT Global in Spokane Valley, WA, is seeking a fabrication/welding associate to support production. The role involves grinding, spot welding, and sheet metal joining, with emphasis on reading drawings and following precise instructions.

Experience in fabrication and welding is required, along with the ability to understand verbal and written guidance. Tools and high-pressure equipment are used daily to meet production targets in a federal contractor environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year fabrication experience required.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Ability to work from verbal and written instructions.
• Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and high-pressure equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uses Angle Grinder to remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from containers or modify containers.
• Sets up and operates spot welders for all production jobs.
• Uses equipment to mark and join a variety of sheet metal materials, including aluminum and stainless steel.
• Able to run production with the aid of fixtures.
• Checks containers to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment.
