Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan offers a one-year non-ACGME clinical fellowship in Advanced Coronary and Minimally Invasive Robotic Cardiac Surgery for individuals who have completed a cardiothoracic training program by June 2027. Directed by Dr.

Nirav Patel, eligibility includes completion of an ACGME accredited Thoracic Surgery program or equivalent and NY licensure by July 2027, with USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2 and ECFMG certification required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME accredited thoracic surgery program or equivalent.
• USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 completion and ECFMG certification.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New York by July 2027.

Responsabilités

• Engage in pre-operative evaluation and planning for advanced coronary and minimally invasive cases.
• Perform operative techniques with supervision in robotic cardiac surgery and post-operative care.
• Contribute to clinical research consistent with this fellowship.
