Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients in accordance with department policies. Responsibilities include supervising others when delegated, and maintaining charts for therapies such as aerosols and oxygen.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program and hold or obtain required licenses and certifications (RCP, BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS) within designated

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• RCP license required.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP/ACLS/PALS certifications required or completed within 90 days of hire.
• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the appropriateness of prescribed therapy for patients under respiratory care.
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy and maintain patient charts.
• Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order.
• Provide care to ventilator patients.
• Assist in department records, training, and supervision of new staff.
• Document care provided and generate documents for charges or records.
