Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen per Federal Law.
• DoD Secret Clearance must be obtained in a reasonable time.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Solid knowledge of ESD control, GD&T, statistics, and process control techniques.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify parts and assemblies meet design specifications.
• Understanding of electrical or mechanical systems and components used in inspection and testing.
• J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, and X-Ray qualifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment for compliance with specified requirements.
• Conduct detailed inspections throughout production to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and assess manufacturing defects, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify corrective actions and rework are effectively implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure parts and materials are properly labeled and traceable throughout the production process.
• Complete and maintain quality assurance records, inspection reports, and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Interface with coworkers, internal customers, and suppliers to address quality issues.
