This position involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex patient cases, often collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. The Advanced Practitioner serves as a key resource for clinical guidance, education, and mentorship to other healthcare professionals, promoting best practices and evidence-based care. Additionally, this role requires active participation in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with advancements in medical knowledge and technology. Ultimately, the Advanced Practitioner contributes significantly to enhancing patient care standards and operational efficiency within the healthcare organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master of Science or Doctorate of Advanced Practitioner
• Maryland State RN and CRNP Licensure
• National Advanced Practice Certification as an Adult or Family Advanced Practitioner through ANCC or AANP or NCCPAcertification
• Valid CPR (BLS)
• DEA/CDS/NPI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nephrology experience is ideal, but no required with strong medical background
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
• Participation in research or quality improvement initiatives
