Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join a medical office in Clackamas, OR for a 1-year ASAP assignment. You will work 7AM-5PM, four days a week, providing clinical support for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic cases and serving as first assist in surgeries.

Candidates must hold Oregon NP licensure with board certification, a First Assist credential, vein harvesting experience, and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Vein Harvesting Experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery cases.
• Serve as first assist during cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Perform vein harvesting for procedures; vein harvesting experience is required.
• Assist with radial artery harvesting when applicable; experience preferred but not required.
• Conduct post-operative rounds, assess and coordinate care with the team.
• Evaluate patients in outpatient clinic as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses and staff throughout the care continuum.
• Support pre- and post-operative management and patient education.

• Shift Schedule: 7AM-5PM x4
• Pay Rate: $170-$175/hr

A medical office in Clackamas, OR is looking for Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Providers will assist with Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery cases.

• Perform vein harvesting for procedures; vein harvesting experience is required.
• Assist with radial artery harvesting when applicable; experience preferred but not required.
• Conduct post-operative patient rounds, including assessment, management, and coordination of care.
• Evaluate patients in the outpatient clinic as needed.
• Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other members of the surgical team.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management, including monitoring recovery and addressing clinical concerns.
• Provide patient education and contribute to continuity of care throughout the surgical process.
