This position is intended for those who are completing requirements for a Master's Degree in Nursing in a Clinical Nurse Specialist Track.
The OU Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Intern Program offers an opportunity to gain additional exposure to the clinical areas and multidisciplinary teams, for a target group of patients, to best prepare them for the transition to practice in a traditional Clinical Nurse Specialist role. The program facilitates direct exposure to practicing Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physician colleagues, and leadership individuals, with the aim of providing learning opportunities that complement the formal education content.
