Premier Community HealthCare Group seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse / Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive primary care in our Family Medicine and Pediatric departments. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, timely EHR documentation, and ongoing participation in quality improvement, after-hours on-call rotations, and multi-site collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Family Medicine).
  • Current Florida APRN / Physician Assistant license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current DEA license preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum three (3) years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
  • Epic certification and annual compliance training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care within Family Medicine and Pediatric departments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care team.
  • Document timely patient encounters in the EHR.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
  • Mentor and train new providers and clinical staff as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Manage schedule to meet encounter targets and productivity.
  • Travel between Premier locations as needed.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Support Premier’s mission and community outreach initiatives.

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Physician Assistant (PA) provides comprehensive primary care services within Premier Community HealthCare Group’s Family Medicine and Pediatric departments. This role focuses on diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, promoting disease prevention, and supporting overall community health. The APRN/PA delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining continuity of care in collaboration with supervising physicians and the interdisciplinary Care Team.

  • Identify and manage comprehensive healthcare needs for age-specific populations within scope of practice
  • Provide health education, preventive care guidance, and chronic disease management support
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
  • Consult and coordinate care across multiple Premier locations
  • Document timely and accurate patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement efforts
  • Mentor and train new providers and clinical support staff as needed
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
  • Manage schedule to meet encounter targets and maintain productivity
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Support Premier’s mission and community outreach initiatives
