Job summary

Halifax Health Hospice is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for the Hospice program in Port Orange, FL. The APRN will function as an independent provider within a multidisciplinary team and perform comprehensive evaluations with history and physical exams to guide patient-centered care.

The role requires an MS in nursing, Florida licensure, and deep knowledge of assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology to manage acute and chronic conditions in adults and geriatric

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; MS in nursing is required.
• Licensed by the State of Florida.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic patient problems.
