Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Supportive Care Service and deliver high-quality palliative care to adult oncology patients. This role emphasizes collaboration with disease management teams and interprofessional support to ensure patient-centered care.

The position offers a dynamic clinical environment on the Main Hospital Campus with flexible scheduling and weekend/holiday exposure.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for NYS license or RN/NP licensure
• Graduate from an accredited PA program or hold NP credentials
• NCCPA certification and BLS certification required
• Experience in hospice & palliative care is preferred

Are you passionate about helping patients live well while undergoing treatment for their cancer? If so, we have a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Supportive Care Service at MSK!

Role Overview

• Provide palliative care to adult oncology patients in an independent, collaborative, and interdisciplinary practice model.
• Collaborate with primary disease management teams and, as a part of an interprofessional Supportive Care team, provide palliative care to patients with various stages of cancer.
• Facilitate post-acute transitions from inpatient to outpatient care in accordance with patients’ values and goals

Key Qualifications

• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification
• BLS certification

Or

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in hospice & palliative care and/or graduate from an accredited hospice & palliative care fellowship strongly preferred.

Additional Information

• Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
• Hours: Flex 12 hour shifts – including weekends and holidays;13 shifts per 4 week schedule (Days). *Training period will include 10-12 hour shifts 3-4 days/week with rotation
• Reporting to: Director, APP

Pay Range

$155,500-$197,400/annually
