Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care in our clinic, following established standards and collaborating with physicians.

Candidates must be a graduate of NP/PA programs, hold MO RN/APN or PA license, BLS, and have at least three years of family medicine experience; strong patient relationships and ability to work under pressure are essential.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.

Certification & Licensures:

• Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or Current license as a Physician’s Assistant.
• BLS Certification

Experience:

• Three years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferred in Family Medicine.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment
• Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public
• Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
• Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
• Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
