Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse Practitioner to join the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology. You will educate patients on fertility options and work with physicians on exams, ultrasounds, and tests, while collecting blood samples and performing histories.

You will deliver direct patient care with physician collaboration, including diagnosis, management and referrals, and promote preventative health and patient advocacy within the REI

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• At least two years of advanced practice experience or RN with OB/GYN/REI experience.
• At least two years of REI experience.
• Active, unrestricted Ohio APN license.

• Collects and processes blood samples for testing; conducts patient interviews and histories.
• Delivers direct patient care under physician supervision, including diagnosis, management, and referrals as needed.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

The Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse Practitioner to join our division.

Summary:

Educates patients about their fertility options. Works with physicians to perform physical examinations, ultrasounds, and scans. Collects and sends blood samples for testing. Communicate with patients, conduct interviews, and gathers medical histories.

Delivers direct patient care consistently with the advanced practice registered nurse's education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. The advanced practice registered nurse may also manage complex illnesses and/or deliver specialty care.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program (other licensures accepted when paired with at least one year of OB/GYN experience).
• At least two year of advanced practice experience or RN with OB/GYN and/or REI experience
• At least two years of REI experience
• Active, unrestricted Ohio APN license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years of experience in REI as a nurse practitioner or registered nurse
• Women's Health nursing experience: At least one year in an OB/GYN setting
