Job summary

University Hospitals seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver high-quality care, guided by Ohio Board of Medicine standards and UH bylaws. You will perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, educate patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve access and outcomes.

Requirements include an MSN or PA degree, Ohio RN/NP/PA licenses, BLS (ACLS preferred), and strong leadership, communication, and computer skills with UH mainframe and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

Master's degree required: MSN or PA program degree.
Licensed in Ohio (RN/NP/PA).
BLS required; ACLS preferred.

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a NP/PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws:

Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self (5%)

Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review (5%)

Education Qualifications

(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing, or
Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program

Experience Qualifications

1+ years as a NP or PA Preferred
