Job summary

Family Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work in Saint George, UT. The APP will collaborate with clinical staff under the Medical Director to deliver medical care in-office settings.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnostic testing, and implementing care plans. Requires NP/PA certification and BLS, with bilingual Spanish preferred for patient communication.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• State accreditation based on certifying exam.
• Basic Life Support Certificate required upon hire.
• Ability to work well as a team, exhibit integrity, use good judgment and keep confidential information.
• Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Competent with care for all age groups including neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments including medical history, physical exams and documentation.
• Orders, administers, and interprets diagnostic tests and screenings.
• Provides treatment for acute and chronic conditions, including minor injuries.
• Develops and monitors patient care plans and educates patients.
• Prescribes medications in accordance with state regulations and protocols.
• Consults with supervising physicians for complex cases as needed.
• Performs office-based procedures and outpatient care within established protocols.
