ConvenientMD in Bangor, ME is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Primary Care clinics. You will deliver patient-centered care with smaller panels, longer visits, and a multidisciplinary team, supported by Athena EHR and modern technology.

Your Impact

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PA) in our APC clinics, you will:

• Deliver personalized, patient-centered care with lower panel sizes, longer visits, and reduced administrative burden.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, nurses, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and medical assistants, to provide holistic care.
• Focus on value-based care principles to proactively educate, navigate, and support patients through their healthcare journey.
• Contribute to the community by promoting and representing the APC clinics in public and professional settings.
• Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance, ensuring seamless, efficient patient care.

Who You Are

• Education, Licensure, & Certifications:
• Holds a master's degree and certification as a Physician Associate/Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.
• Demonstrated prior experience: Has experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings (preferred).

Pay Transparency

In order to maintain equity among team members, ConvenientMD has established defined salary ranges for each role. Individual pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, years of relevant experience, current market conditions, and budget considerations. The pay range listed reflects the potential compensation for this role within this region and encompasses the full spectrum of provider positions, from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) through Physicians. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process. We encourage you to apply even if your desired compensation falls outside of the listed range. In addition to base compensation, Advanced Primary Care providers at ConvenientMD are eligible for a value-based care incentive program focused on outcomes, quality, and cost-effective care. Pay Range for this Position (APP-Physician): $135,000 USD - $290,000 USD
