Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the MSK Kids Pediatric ICU team. You will deliver comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients in an acute setting, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to address medical and psychosocial needs.

Required: PA program graduate, NCCPA certification, NYS license or eligibility, BLS/PALS. Pediatric ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure.
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred.
• BLS, PALS.
• Current NYS RN and NP licenses/registrations.
• Pediatric Acute Care NP certification required.
• Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility).
• 1+ years of prior clinical experience in a PICU.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited PA program

• Pediatric Acute Care NP certification required

Core skills:

• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, healthcare team members, surgical, anesthesia, and medical staff to ensure seamless collaboration and optimize patient care.
• Comprehensive Care: Provide thorough and holistic care to pre-surgical testing patients, addressing their medical needs and ensuring they are prepared for surgery.
• Assessment Expertise: Conduct detailed history and physical assessments, gathering essential information to inform treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.

Additional information:

• Hours: 13 shifts per 4 week schedule, 12 hour NIGHT shifts including weekend and holiday rotation. There will be a Day Rotation Opportunity After 1 Year.

• Reporting to: Associate Director, APP

Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually

*This role is eligible for a Critical Care Allowance of $8600.00 Annually
