Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Neurosurgery team, delivering advanced clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Qualifications

• Experience in neuroscience or perioperative care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice in neurosurgery and perioperative care.

In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.

The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or Physician

License/Certification Requirements

Board certification Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association ACLS/BLS and CDS/DEA
