Job summary

Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our inpatient cardiology service at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Job description

Capital Cardiology Associates is currently seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our inpatient cardiology service at Albany Medical Center.

This position involves evening into overnight shifts, three shifts of 8 or 10 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. We offer flexible scheduling to ensure consistent coverage while maintaining our high standard of patient care.

This is an inpatient only position covering cardiology service patients, answering pages, and seeing routine and urgent cardiac consults. The right candidate would be comfortable working independently and autonomously in the acute hospital setting while also working collaboratively with the primary care team. There will be a cardiologist on call for urgent matters. NPs or PAs with a strong knowledge in cardiology and/or critical care is a plus. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current NYS PA or NP license in good standing
• Board Certification and BLS/ACLS are required

Compensation:

• $93,600- $101,400 per year based on experience and qualifications.
