Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Outpatient Heme Malignancy Team at MSK Nassau & MSK Commack sites. You will perform bone marrow biopsies/aspirates and lumbar punctures, deliver high-quality patient care, and work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patient education, and clinical support across outpatient lymphoma

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience preferred.
• Experience with bone marrow biopsy/aspirates and lumbar punctures is helpful.
• Current NYS RN and NP licenses/registrations (for RN/NP track).
• Master’s degree in nursing with prescriptive privileges or eligibility.
• Related National NP certification.

Role Overview

• In this role, you'll deliver top-tier, comprehensive care while supporting our skilled proceduralist team with bone marrow aspirations, biopsies and lumbar punctures.
• Work alongside an exceptional team dedicated to excellence in outpatient care, providing compassionate and expert treatment to our patients.

Key Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
• Experience with bone marrow biopsy/aspirates and lumbar punctures is helpful

OR

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification
• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
• Experience with bone marrow biopsy/aspirates and lumbar punctures is helpful

Additional Information

Hours: 4, 10 hour shifts/week Monday-Friday 8:00a-6:00p

Reporting to: Manager, APP

Pay Range: $155,500-$197,400/annually

Pay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00
