Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient clinic setting. The role collaborates with physicians to assess, treat, and manage patient care across acute and chronic conditions.

Extensive responsibilities include triage, care coordination, and education of patients and families. Applicants should hold NP or PA licensure in Ohio, a Master’s degree and prescriptive authority certification.

Qualifications

• NP or PA licensure in Ohio.
• Master’s degree in nursing or PA program completed.
• Certification to include Prescriptive Authority.
• Knowledge of triage procedures and patient care standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments in outpatient clinic with physician collaboration.
• Develops treatment plans, coordinates care and follows up with patients.
• Reviews medications, orders appropriate tests and lab work.
• Triages clinic calls and notifies providers as needed.
• Ensures quality, safety and infection control standards.
