One weekend q5 (12hr shift on Sat and Sun) and 1-2 holidays per year required.* Required Travel: Rare travel to other NorthShore Hospitals (including Swedish) may be required.* Inpatient role **Job Description:**Exciting opportunity to join **Endeavor Health** with the **Orthopedic & Spine Institute**! Under the direction of the collaborating physician(s), provides care to patients. Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrates evidence-based practice. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty. Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum. Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health. Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. Promotes wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities. Works autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants. Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals.
