Job summary

Charleston Oncology in Charleston, SC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our hematology/oncology team. You will work with a hematologist/oncologist in state-of-the-art facilities, caring for patients across Charleston and Mount Pleasant.

This role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, compassionate patient care, and the ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient populations in EPIC. Travel to Mount Pleasant is involved.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care.

• Manage EMR workload and patient in-baskets within EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).

• Willingness to work collaboratively with all members of the care team, including MAs, nurses, and other APPs.

• Comfort caring for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Proficiency in EMR workload management and patient in-baskets.

• Flexibility to practice at multiple Charleston-area locations.

• Proven history of prioritizing patient satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of hematology/oncology experience ( 5+ years preferred ).

• Experience as a primary caregiver for cellular therapy patients (BMT & CAR-T).

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
