Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver direct patient care in medical oncology. You will collaborate with licensed physicians, provide care for acute and chronic conditions, and support clinic access and continuity of care across disease-specific teams.

Licensed APRN or PA-C with eligible NCCPA certification is required, plus MSP in nursing or equivalent. On-site, full-time position reporting to the James Cancer Hospital.

Job description

**Scope of Position**The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing health care services to patients within the parameters of a standard care or supervisory agreement with an attending physician member of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborates with a physician(s) and other clinicians in providing a full scope of patient care. The focus is on preventive health or the management of acute and/or stable chronic conditions. Performs medical services that have been specifically authorized and directed by the credentialing body and the certifying organization through which they hold licensure.**Position Summary**The APP provides health care services to patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff.
