Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Inpatient Hematology unit on a rotating shift basis. The APP will work in collaboration with a licensed physician to deliver comprehensive inpatient care, education, and counseling to patients and families.

Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic hematologic conditions, coordinating referrals, and contributing to health promotion and prevention efforts within a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio.
• Graduate of an NP program eligible to sit for national cert exam recognized by Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• OR Masters Prepared; Graduate of a PA-C program eligible for NCCPA certification.

Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Inpatient Hematology - Rotational## Department:James | Inpatient Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant**Scope of Position**The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing health care services to patients within the parameters of a standard care or supervisory agreement with an attending physician member of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborates with a physician(s) and other clinicians in providing a full scope of patient care. The focus is on preventive health or the management of acute and/or stable chronic conditions. Performs medical services that have been specifically authorized and directed by the credentialing body and the certifying organization through which they hold licensure.**Position Summary**The APP provides health care services to patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff.
