Job summary

GI Alliance’s Connecticut Gastroenterology (CTGI) – Sharon is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision of a physician in a clinic setting.

The role emphasizes completion of histories and physicals, GI-focused care, and ongoing credentialing requirements, with a flexible schedule aligned to patient and facility needs.

Qualifications

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Gastrointestinal experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in a clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
