Job summary

The Urology Alliance, in partnership with Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (AUUA), is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our urology team in the Phoenix metro area.

The role involves performing complete patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans with urologists, and providing follow-up care. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for in-office procedures and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MSN or PA degree from an accredited program.
• Active and valid state medical license.
• DEA/DPS license.
• Urology experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete evaluations on patients of all ages.
• Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Establish working diagnoses and develop treatment plans with urologists.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and provide follow-up care.
• Refer to the supervising urologist or specialists as needed.
• See new and follow-up patients and provide problem-oriented intervention.
• Assist in in-office procedures, including TRUS, cystoscopies, and post-op voiding trials.
• Order and interpret lab and imaging studies and provide appropriate care and follow-up.
• Provide phone/video consultation for patient complaints and prescriptions.

Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Urology

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Litchfield Park, Arizona (Locations: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sun City)

Urology Alliance in partnership with Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (AUUA) offers a dynamic clinical practice environment focusing on advanced urology care.

General Responsibilities

• Perform complete evaluations on patients of all ages
• Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Establish working diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with urologists
• Implement therapeutic interventions and provide appropriate follow-up care
• Refer to the supervising urologist or specialists as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Sees new and follow-up patients and provides problem-oriented intervention for their urological conditions
• Assists in care, treatment, and follow-up as needed
• Perform and/or assists in-office procedures, including transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) volume studies, cystoscopies, post-void residual (PVRs) evaluations, difficult catheterizations, post-op voiding trials, and other necessary procedures
• Orders and interprets lab, x-ray, special studies, and clinical procedures, and provides appropriate care and follow-up
• Provides phone/video consultation for patient complaints and prescription refills
• Performs on-call duties for urology
• Evaluates, screens, and counsels patients on health maintenance and promotes utilization of community resources

Education & Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or PA degree from an accredited program
• Active and valid state medical license
• DEA/DPS license
• Urology experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
