Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive patient care. You will take medical histories, perform physical exams, order diagnostics, and diagnose conditions in collaboration with a supervising physician.

Responsibilities include prescribing medications, coordinating treatments, and educating patients to support overall care goals. GA PA/APRN licensure and BLS CPR are required; two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active GA PA or APRN license or eligibility.
  • AHA BLS CPR required.
  • Two years? experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take medical histories, perform exams, and document findings.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, CTs, MRIs as indicated.
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
  • Provide patient education and coordinate care with supervising physician.

Every time.**The medical advanced practice provider working in Hamilton Physician Group will be responsible for taking medical histories, examine, and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and other diagnoses (i.e. x-rays, CT scans, MRI) and make diagnoses. The medical advanced practice provider will prescribe medications and other ancillary services as indicated (i.e. physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietary consults, behavioral health consults). The medical advanced practice provider will provide patient education as indicated. The above duties and other duties as assigned will be performed in collaboration with a supervising physician and the physician assistant or nurse practitioner.### JOB QUALIFICATIONS**Education:** Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program.**Licensure:** Registered PA or APRN license, or eligible for license, in state of Georgia. AHA BLS CPR required.**Experience:** Demonstration of clinical competency in the Advanced Practice Provider role. Two years’ experience preferred.**Skills:** Demonstration of clinical competency in the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner role. Demonstration of qualities of leadership and sound clinical judgment. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, fellow co-workers and other members of the health care team. Ability to effectively interpret, implement and support hospital policies, regulations, philosophy and objectives.
