Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join the Kidney/Pancreas/Living Donor Clinic. The APP will work with two transplant surgeons and a nephrologist group in an outpatient setting, handling routine follow-ups, lab reviews, and minor drain removals.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with no weekends or holidays. Prior transplant experience and APP experience are required; Epic EHR is used.

Qualifications

• 1 year transplant experience required.
• 1 year APP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient duties: routine kidney and pancreas transplant follow-ups, lab review, and minor drain removal.
• Independent panel of patients daily in the outpatient clinic.

Position Highlights:

• Join an experienced team of 2 Transplant Surgeons and two Nephrologist group
• Primary Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital
• Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 4:30PM, no weekends or holidays
• Outpatient Duties: Routine kidney, pancreas transplant follow-ups, lab review, and minor drain removal.

• 1 year experience required as APP
• 1 year of Transplant Experience
