Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to oversee inpatient Orthopedic/Neurosurgery care. You will work closely with a high-caliber healthcare team to deliver expert, patient-centered care for surgical and medical oncology patients.

Role requires NYS licensure (NP or PA) with NCCPA certification and BLS, plus 2 years of inpatient orthopedics/neurosurgery experience or equivalent critical care background.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
• BLS Certification and NYS license to practice as NP or PA.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field with prescriptive privileges.
• Two years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgery; medicine or critical care is strongly preferred.
• Current NYS RN and NP licenses/registrations accepted as alternative.
• Related NP certifications and BLS certification are required.

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our elite team taking care of Inpatient Orthopedic/Neurosurgery patients. Role Overview: In this role, you'll lead the care for surgical and medical oncology patients, working hand-in-hand with a stellar healthcare team. Key Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification and BLS Certification Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure 2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgery Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred OR Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Related National NP certification and BLS certification 2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgery Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred

Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY Hours:13.5-hour shifts, This is a night position, 5:30p-7:00a, with weekend and holiday rotation required. (12 shifts every 4 weeks) Reports to: Director, APP Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually
