Virginia Oncology Associates in Norfolk and Virginia Beach is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our oncology care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assess and manage oncology patients, initiate interventions, document responses, prescribe therapies per protocol, and educate patients and families.

Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our offices located in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires the ability to bend, stoop, twist; assist patients in moving; assist patients in arising from exam table or bed; push wheelchair patients; assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchair. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
